th1ng’s director, Run Wrake, has animated a rather regal TV commercial for Wieden Kennedy and The Guardian. The 10 second spot promotes a free two-part guide to Kings and Queens and features comically warring, monty python –esque and highly stylised animated characters of Henry VIII and Queen Victoria trying to outdo each other with Victoria’s boast of having the longest reign and Henry’s comeback of ‘I started my own church’.
