th1ng director Sylvain Chomet, best known for his Oscar-nominated feature films The Illusionist and The Triplets of Belleville, has directed a new advertising campaign for Lake District Cheese Co, part of the UK’s largest farmer-owned business.

The advertising comprises three animated commercials, a 30’’ spot and 2 x 10’’ ‘outtakes’, promoting Lake District Cheese and began airing over the weekend across cinemas in Scotland and England. They will be shown before some of this summer's best family movies, including Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt 2.

Commissioned by Glasgow-based agency Frame, the main 30’’ advertisement is a light-hearted 2D animation featuring Cow and Bunny – the brand ambassadors from the Lake District Cheese Co., voiced by Julie Walters and Will Andrews.
